Training That Transforms Athletes into Champions

Woodbury Elite Track & Field is led by Founder and Head Coach Emily Olmstead, whose lifelong love for the sport began at age six. A former USATF and AAU competitor, Emily went on to earn a full Division I scholarship thanks to the mentorship of her club coaches—an experience that inspired her to give back through coaching.

With experience coaching youth and high school athletes, Emily brings a strong mix of expertise, passion, and dedication to helping athletes of all levels reach their full potential. She’s excited to lead Woodbury Elite into the 2025 season and continue fostering growth, skill, and confidence in every athlete.

FULL SPECTRUM TRAINING

Speed Development

At Woodbury Elite T&F, speed is always an anchoring element of our coaching philosophy. Whether it’s speed endurance work for our sprinters or speed turnover for our distance runners, training to improve speed is key!

Plyometrics

Plyometrics are a key component in developing speed, explosiveness, power and agility. We incorporate plyometrics in our training plans and curate exercises based on every athlete’s age and experience level.

Customized Workouts

Our advanced programing is tailored for our athletes and based upon their specific events and areas of improvement. We make the workouts challenging, but always bring an element of fun to every practice!
At Woodbury Elite T&F, we participate in USATF, AAU, and non sanctioned meets. Our team practices 3 times a week on Monday’s, Wednesday’s and Thursday’s from 6:00-7:30 PM.
